Where is the fall season?

So I am a little disappointed it hasn’t felt like fall here in Southern California.  Don’t get me wrong I love our long summer months in LA, but fall is my favorite season. I miss my trench coats, boots, and layering up for chilly days. So I am crossing my fingers that by Halloween we will be leaving summer weather behind us. THE STRUGGLE IS REAL PEOPLE! With fall coming, makes the wait for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas that much shorter. All I can think about is the awesome decorations and foods that are involved.  Just think about it, three of the best holidays (in my opinion) are right after each other.  Halloween and getting dressed up in costumes, Thanksgiving family dinners, and best of all, Christmas music. Admit it we all love our Christmas carols.

Now onto this outfit...

I wanted a cute and comfortable outfit for my niece's 3rd birthday party, I will post a blog on that soon. I found these trousers at Forever 21, as if I can’t be more obsessed with this store. What mostly caught my eye were the V-shaped hems they are rocking.  If you can’t tell, I’ve been into burgundy lately. It’s just a fabulous sophisticated color that will be around plenty this fall season. Till next time!

My Obsession on Rompers & Jumpsuits

                 Similar Jumpsuit here
Shoes are from Jessica Simpson- Cheetah Shoe.
                 Most places are sold out.
             Metallic Gold Belt similar here.

Rompers and Jumpsuits:
Two of the best things invented for women. I would be lying to you if I told you I am not obsessed with them. They are the most comfortable things to wear. Except when we are talking about going to the ladies room, now that is another story! All women will agree with me it is not an easy task, but lets avoid going in that direction in this conversation… so lets continue. :)

So what’s the beauty on this one piece? Besides being a fashionable outfit, I am able to dress my romper or jumpsuit to look as a
casual piece pairing it with flats, booties or if you are going for a more up-do look lets add some heels in the mix. Secondly, they are socially acceptable because come to think about it weren’t rompers inspired from kid pajamas? I believe so, but let me know if I am wrong. I wore this black jumpsuit during a night out in Los Angeles to celebrate my friend's 25th birthday. Most comfortable thing to wear!

Here is a list and links of some rompers and jumpsuits I’ve fallen in love with during my Pinterest pinning session.

I am loving this Forever 21 black jumpsuit. I am loving their polka dot mesh sleeves. I could see myself wear this for a night out with the girls to a relax dinner. Bonus point, it's simple and affordable (who doesn’t love F21, right?). Link Here

Uh La La! The romper speaks for itself!

I want this jumpsuit! How cute would this look for a date? I am loving this dark green color especially for this fall season.

Talk about Bo-Ho Chic!!

I need to do some actual shopping and increase my romper/jumpsuit collection.

Stay classy,
Pau

Anaheim Packing District

I’ve been living in the Los Angeles area for almost three years and some months now. Saying “three years” makes me realize how little I know about the city. I’ve come to the realization I never really explored Los Angeles, and the cities surrounding it, as I would like. So I had made a promise to myself to explore as much as I can.

I’ve heard about the Anaheim Packing District, and its unique interior designing. Two of my friends, Chelsea and Lily, and I took our Wednesday afternoon to explore this little gem and have a dinner date. Here are some pictures to show you what I fell in love with.
(I apologize in advance if any of my pictures are not the best quality, the lighting was not corroborating, or maybe I am horrible at using my camera, haha).

(I had to show everyone what I had for dinner. It was AMAZING. From The Chippy Restaurant)

If any of you are wondering my entire outfit is from Forever 21, except the booties.
If you ever have the chance to explore the Anaheim Packing District please do. I don't know why I waited so long to go.

Stay classy,
Pau

The Wedding Guest Outfit

We all can express that we love weddings. Witnessing two people come together and show their love for one another in front of their friends and families is something remarkable. But what I love the most is, the fashion, the trends, and the little details that make this day an incredible one. Few weekends ago I witnessed my beautiful cousin, Vanessa, exchange her vows to the love of her life. If your family is anything like mine, then you understand the meaning of “going all out”, and your wedding outfit is no exception. So I’ve decided why not start my own blog and share with you what I have worn to the wedding.

You will typically see me wearing a shorter dress due to my 5’2 height and my lack of long legs.  But thanks to my fabulous mother, I’ve given into trying on something different. I decided to go for a more traditional look with a long dress from Valentino Spring 2014 collection.  Paired with a pair of black heels from Zara.

It’s something out of my comfort zone, but that is what fashion is all about right? Trying new things, seeing what works and doesn’t work for you? Well for me it is. I am no expert on fashion but as Pharell Williams said, “fashion has to reflect who you are, what you feel at the moment, and where you’re going”.  I try to dress according to my mood and my plans for the day, but also keeping it comfortable.

P.S: To Kevin and Vanessa, congratulations! Your wedding was beautiful. I wish you all the best and that God grants both of you happiness and never ending love in your marriage. Can’t wait to witness your family grow.
